Lignano, ITALY

  Summer camp for teenagers

Tuition programs.

The young people are monitored during the duration of the stay and a team of organizers supervises all their activities.

• Minimum age: 12
• Maximum age: 18
• School material.
• Test and certificate of linguistic training
• Maximum 12 students per class.
• Residence accommodation, triple occupancy bedroom, full board (3 meals per day).
• Private bathroom per room.
• Snack on the afternoon
• Laundry service once a week 
• Sunday arrival. Sunday departure.
• In the afternoon and evening, cultural, sport and social activities respecting the age brackets. Young Italian students of the same age will be part of these activities.
• On site, many sport  facilities, swimming pool.
• Private beach.
• One day excursion every week to Venice, Verona, Trieste, and many more ...
• Medical care 24H/24, students will be insured for any physical injury within the camp. We recommend an additional insurance for a complete coverage.

Starting dates.

             * 2 weeks stay only.The last departure day will be August 1st.  

Available options.

• Pocket money: we suggest 90 Euros per week.
   

• Transfers in/out on Sundays. NO exception:
  Airports (Venice or Trieste-Ronchi)150 Euros or 130 Euros respectively.
  
  Airport (Trevise...Ryanair Flights): 190 Euros.
  
  Railway station (Latisana, 25 km from Lignano): 70 Euros.
   

• Additional day in residence; upon request.

Please note that it is very significant to ensure your child before the departure. This insurance completes the one already held by the summer camp.

 To this end we strongly advise you to view the general conditions of reservation.

We also would like to specify that your child will be take care of as of the moment of his arrival to the airport or the station and this until the date of expected return. A monitor will undertake to drive your child to the airport or the station for its return and will make sure that his departure proceeds under the best conditions. Additional precision: a qualified medical personnel is always present 24 hours a day.

Our prices are available from January 1st to December 31, 2009. These prices never include the Air Fare.

Social Activities 

In addition to morning classes of Italian language there are afternoon and evening programs of sport and leisure activities, tailored to the interests of the respective age groups. The instructors will encourage students to practice their Italian as they work with them to develop new skills in the afternoon activity sessions. During the activities students will mingle with Italian youngsters of the same age residing at the centre. This will stimulate Italian language practice and new friendships.

Students can choose from a wide range of sport and creative activities according to their tastes and interests. The activities are conceived to meet the students’ wish to have fun, to move, to practice sport or express their own creative ideas, but above all these activities give them the opportunity of meeting and cooperating with boys and girls of the same age from many other countries.


Sports
Our students have a wide choice of supervised sports:
tennis, football, volleyball, beach volley, swimming, basketball, skating.
It is possible to practice horseback riding outside the Centre paying an extra-charge.
 

Creative Leisure Activities
Students can take part in writing and editing the school magazine and in the theatre workshop.

Fun Leisure Activities
Evening walks in town, discotheque, barbeque on the beach, beach games.

Excursions
They include educational visits to interesting places near Lignano, accompanied by experienced members of staff.Once a week there will be a full day excursion to: Venice, Verona, Gardaland (paying an extra-charge), Trieste, Aquileia, Cividale, Udine, Ferrara.

Sitting on the tip of a peninsula in Italy’s far north, between the Adriatic cities of Venice and Trieste, is the popular holiday resort of Lignano. With a mild, healthy climate, a pleasant summer breeze and outstanding facilities for sport and entertainment, it’s no wonder so many escape here during the summer. The residential junior school is situated within the grounds of Villaggio Adriatico, a holiday complex located between Lignano City and Lignano Pineta, boasting a beautiful pinewood park and its own long stretch of private beach. With such a magnificent setting the complex lends itself easily to all kinds of sports and leisure, providing the perfect environment in which to study the language and make the most of the great outdoors.
