The school building located in one of the
most valued historic buildings of Buenos Aires, on the famous Bartolomé
Mitre and Suipacha. Much of the nineteenth century architecture still
survives in this corner which is near the main square "Plaza de Mayo"
and "Casa Rosada" (government's house). A few blocks from the school,
you will also find some of the main attractions like the Obelisco, and
the magnificent building of the National Congress.

- Spanish and TANGO or SALSA: 20 language lessons
per week + 8 lessons on TANGO or SALSA dance per week.
You'll learn about the history of the Argentine dance, its language and
steps. During the Spanish course you will learn the
culture, and tradition that surrounds the Tango and Salsa, in particular the
language -lunfardo-, costumes, and the philosophy which characterizes
its people. Included in the course are visits to traditional tango and
milonga bars.
- Spanish and medicine, art, history and
literature, SPANISH FOR BUSINESS. This course combines 20 language lessons per week +
8 private lessons (1 to 1) per week on the field chosen with a
technician and specialist.
- CO-Op - Internship: working in a company in your
fields of competences. Maximum stay: 6 months.
Previously, a Spanish course is compulsory. Minimum 2 weeks, 20 lessons
per week. A CV in Spanish is also compulsory with your photo.
Minimum level required: upper intermediate students.

Transport is very convenient and within easy access. All metro lines in
Buenos Aries have a stop just five minutes away from the school. The
rooms are very comfortable, giving you the opportunity to meet other
students. In the meeting room you can have coffee, tea, mate, or mineral
water, watch Argentine and Latin American videos, and use Internet.

This type of accommodation is perfect if you want to immerse yourself in

bank of Plata Rio which separates Argentina from Uruguay. Federal capital

Uruguay. Founded in 1536 by Pedro de Mendoza and then named Nuestra Señora
Santa Maria del Buen Surface in remembrance of the winds which had carried
out its boat to Rio de Plata. The city became federal capital in 1880 and
was separated from the province of the same name. Buenos Aires, by its
population mainly resulting from European immigration of the last century
is a city with multiple facets, full with charm, alternating parks and
gardens, districts with town houses, sky scrapers.... coffee terraces, it
is certainly a city with the most " European " aspects of the South
American continent. Capital of the Tango, of the " asados " or Argentinean
ox grills, Buenos Aires is also a city of intense night life with a
profusion of cabarets, restaurants, dance halls or the porteños
(inhabitants of Buenos Aires; " those of the port). Its architecture
inspired by the French style of the XIX century give Buenos Aires the
nickname "The Paris of Latin America". It's famous for, the Place of May
(Plaza de Mayo) where rises Casa Rosada, seat of Providence.

La Boca
Did you know that Argentina is a country that has grown
demographically due to important migratory flows in the 19th
century? The neighborhood of "La Boca" was built abound the first
harbor of the city of Buenos Aires. Many of the Italian immigrants
settled near the docks between 1880 and 1930. The history of this
recent past is at plain sight in the streets of La Boca, in the
color of its houses, in its museums and also in the Boca Juniors
soccer stadium, one of the most popular teams of Argentina..

San Telmo
San Telmo is Buenos Aires´ oldest neighborhood. A walk along its
streets will reveal the historical heritage from colonial times up
to the beginning of the 20th century. How did our customs evolve?
Which were yesterday´s styles? You will learn to distinguish
styles and discover the changes. You will be able to visit antique
shops and the famous market at Dorrego Plaza, the historical heart
of the neighborhood. San Telmo, historical patrimony of the city,
is where most of the "tanguerías" (Tango Restaurants/bars) and "casonas"
(old-fashioned restaurants) from last century, can be found.

Palermo chico
French architecture in Buenos Aires
Did you know that Argentina was a very rich country at the
beginning of the 20th century? You will find out through the
splendid residences of this neighborhood, the way of life of the
aristocracy of Buenos Aires with fortunes based on the
exploitation of the field. In the neighborhood of Palermo Chico
you will observe how the French architecture gradually replaced
the colonial Spanish past. We will explain why these mansions of
the Argentine elite are today headquarters of embassies and
consular representations. |

Yesterday and today
Argentina and the immigration are closely related. The
neighborhood of Retiro is clear proof of this. The harbor, the
railroad and the old Immigrants Hotel which are in the area will
help us explain why they are such an important part of our
history. We can also explain what the city was like in the 18th
century and from the San Martin Plaza, help you imagine the open
field that was there until the middle of the 19th century and find
out why the army´s soldiers trained there. Today this Plaza also
preserves the memory of the most recent history in the
commemorative monument to the War of Malvinas. |

Recoleta
Art, history and leisure: Recoleta offers all of this and much
more. It is the place where young people meet. In the residential
neighborhood of Recoleta is the Church of Our Lady of Pilar ("Nuestra
Señora del Pilar"), a splendid and rare example of colonial
architecture. The former cloisters of the convent are today a
museum and cultural center. Craftsmen and street artists gather in
the square. In the landscape of the neighborhood the museums of
art coexist with the most sophisticated restaurants, cafés and

Surely you know them: Diego Armando Maradona, the most famous
