The school (18 classes) is in the heart of the city, 10 minutes from Piazza del Campo. The building dates from the 17th century and was restored. The cloister dating from the 13th century is next to the school. The school was created in 1979 and is accredited by the Italian ministry of education.

Tuition Programs

• 1 lesson: 60 minutes.
• Minimum age: 17
• Schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, depending on the program chosen.
• Maximum 12 students per class, average of 10.
• All levels available
• Teaching material included. Otherwise 20 to 35 € to be paid for books only according to your level.
   
• 19 or 23 lessons per week: 4 or 8 private tuition respectively included per week. 
   
• Special LONG term course: 20 lessons per week
   
• Cultural course "Conoscere Siena": 4 hours per week to be added to a 20 or 24  lessons per week course.
   
• Social and cultural activities organized by the school are included in your package. Entrance fees not included.
• Library, cafeteria, Internet and email access
• Test and certificate of linguistic training

Starting Dates

Beginners MUST start to the dates mentioned above. Others, every Monday of the year.

       Our greeting families are recruited with great care. The criteria of selection are very rigorous and each family must satisfy a precise schedule of conditions: excellent morality, desire to communicate with their host, satisfactory social standing. We should specify that the families will only speak with you the language of the country where you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses!
 

City information

Superb medieval city of Tuscany, on the red clay hills of Chianti, to 50 km to the south of Florence, it gave its name to the sienna, brown orchid dye used in painting. independent Republic from the XII to the XVI century this city of merchants and bankers was illustrated by a brilliant civilization which did of it one of the capitals of the Gothic art in Europe. The XII and XIV centuries developed an artistic school in with it (school of sienna). The medieval heritage of the city (university founded into 1247) appears at the time of the popular festivals as that which is held downtown on Piazza del Campo, between teams in XV century old costumes representing the " contrade " (parishes) of the city.

Piazza del Campo, in the shape of a Saint-Jacob shell, is one of the most beautiful medieval places in Europe. She is bordered by old houses of which Palazzo Pubblico which surmounts Torre del Mangia, touring 102m. The palace, the town hall and the municipal museum have all beautiful collections of local art.
