The 15 lessons per week program is considered as a "Vacation English" course. Then the I-20 form is not compulsory so as the F-1 visa

ALL STUDENTS GOING TO THE USA IN ORDER TO GET A LANGUAGE COURSE MUST KNOW THAT THE I-20 FORM IS NOW COMPULSORY, AND IT IN ORDER TO ASK FOR A STUDENT VISA F-1, IF THE COURSE IS OF A MINIMUM OF 18 LESSONS A WEEK. ALL NATIONALITIES ARE CONCERNED.

FOR CANADIAN STUDENTS, THE I-20 FORM IS ALSO COMPULSORY BUT ARE EXEMPTED FROM VISA.

PAYMENT OF THE SEVIS FEE (AMERICAN ANTI TERRORIST MEASURES) WILL BE ALSO COMPULSORY BESIDES THE VISA EXPENSES. REQUIRED FOR ALL NATIONALITIES.

SEVIS I-901 (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System): PRICE: 100$US

This SEVIS fee is required of all foreign nationals who come to the United States for the purpose of pursuing a full course of study in institutions such as colleges, universities, and language training programs. It is payable one time for each single educational program in which an F-1 student participates, extending from the time the student is granted F-1 status to the time the student falls out of status, changes status, or departs the U.S. for an extended period of time.

This fee is new and goes into effect September 1, 2004. SEVIS fee payments will be used by the United States Department of Homeland Security to fund the Student and Exchange Visitor Program. This program makes it possible for international students and exchange visitors to attend schools in the United States. The fee also funds the Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), a computer system employed to track international students and exchange visitors during their stays in the United States.

Students residence : 2 residences, 20 minutes by public transportation from the school. One is dedicated to men, the other one for women.
Women residence: single occupancy bedroom, shared bathroom. To participate, minimum 18, maximum 34 years old. Business center with fax and computers. 2 meals per day from Monday to Saturday. Breakfast only on Sunday.
Men residence: confortable apartment in double or triple occupancy bedrooms. No single available. No meal. Shared kitchen and bathroom. Available restaurant at the women residence from Monday to Saturday. Meals are also available with extra $: 16$US per day, 2 meals included. To be paid on the spot.

Our greeting families are recruited with great care. The criteria of selection are very rigorous and each family must satisfy a precise conditions of contract: : excellent morality, desire to communicate with their host, satisfactory social standing. We should specify that the families will only speak with you the language of the country where you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses!

We can visit among others the Capitol, the seat of Congress, a monument dedicated to Washington and another one to Lincoln, the Arlington national cemetery and finally the White House, the official residence of the president.
