Learn English in Victoria in Canada

Our school is quite recent, 2 years of experience, situated in the trade and tourist district of the city. The port is in 2 minutes on foot. 10 classrooms are well enlightened , with language laboratory, free access to internet and email, conference room.

Tuition programs

• 1 lesson: 50 minutes
• Minimum age: 16 
• Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, flexible according to the program chosen.
• Maximum of 10 students per class
• All levels available
   
• TOEFL: 25 lessons per week, duration between 4 to 16 weeks.
   
• TOEFL material: 95$CAD to be added
   
• Cambridge (FCE/CAE), 9 or 12 weeks: if 12 weeks, 25 lessons per week: 9 weeks, 30 lessons per week: material and exam fees: 395$CAD to be added
   
• Business English: 25 lessons per week. Minimum level required: intermediate. This course approaches various aspects: business, negotiation, tax system, business on phone or by mail, business meetings, the market, vocabulary to the business world,.....
   
• Private courses: minimum 2 lessons per day, from 1 to 4 weeks.
   
• Activities included and organized by the school
• School material included
• Evaluation and attestation of linguistic training.

   Cambridge (FCE): starting:

12 weeks  March 23 or September 14

Cambridge (CAE): starting:
12 weeks  March 23

• Our prices are available from January 1st to December 31, 2009. These prices never include the plane ticket.

Our greeting families are recruited with great care. The criteria of selection are very rigorous and each family must satisfy a precise schedule of conditions: excellent morality, desire to communicate with their host, satisfactory social standing. We should specify that the families will only speak with you the language of the country where you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses!
 

City Information                                                         Capital of the Canadian province of British Columbia, Victoria was created in 1843 by the Hudson Bay company as counter of fur business with England and many of its buildings dating this time are very well preserved. The city is in the south point of the island of Vancouver; just in front of the American coasts of Washington State. 300 000 inhabitants, Victoria offers a dynamic urban life but in an environment protected within an omnipresent wild nature. It is also one of the Canadian cities where the climate is the sweetest and which shelters magnificent gardens. Victoria allows to practise numerous activities and open air sports in a wild environment. The neighbouring coasts shelter the most important colony of killer whales of the world, who can be observed all year long. Other activities common to Victoria: birds observation, sea kayak, fishing, dive, ride, etc...Seattle (USA) and the city of Vancouver are within 45 minutes of Victoria by plane.
