Program 1
General English course
of 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week,
Internship (Coop-program), private course, academic year.

Tuition program.
- 1 lesson: 55 minutes.
- Minimum age: 18.
- Schedule: (9:00 AM - 1:10 PM) for 20
lessons/week.
(9:00 AM - 3:20 PM) for 25 lessons/week.
(9:00 AM - 4:45 PM) for 30 lessons/week.
- Maximum 14 students per class, average 8
to 11.
- Private course: 20 lessons per
week.
- Co-op program (Internship). Upper
intermediate level required. The minimum total duration must be 8 weeks
with 4 weeks english course and 4 weeks Co-op program (4 and 4). Then 12
(6 and 6), 16 (8 and 8), ......
TUITION: 30 lessons per week.
CO-OP program, same duration as tuition. CV and a letter in support of application are
compulsory. (Both in English).
- "PLUS lessons": 10 private lessons, 2
weeks minimum (4 per week minimum). Additional course to a group course
in order to improve particular skills with the teacher.
- All levels available.

This course consists essentially in
obtaining or in strengthening the terminology of English in the
business world. A particular vocabulary for your meetings, your
presentations, your future negotiations, your phone calls, the
preparation of your memos, your letters, your reports. Also, the
students learn or are reminded the label and the socialization in the
working world, with a more particular bombast on the North American
situation. The priority is made as for the communicative skill. The

Courses for the CAMBRIDGE
exams preparation: FCE, CAE:
30 lessons per week.

FCE : First Certificate in English,
CAE : Certificate of Advanced English,
Tuition program.
These diplomas insure a recognition of your
English level on an international plan with numerous multinational companies
as well as with English-speaking universities around the world. Establish by
UCLES (local University of Cambridge Examinations Syndicates).
- CAE and FCE : students with an
intermediate level will have to get a 12 weeks program. Those with a more
advance level, 4 or 8 weeks will be sufficient.
- 30 lessons per week. June / December
sessions.
Accommodation 1 additional week included to take the exam.

- 2 meals per day included (morning and

Our greeting families are recruited with great care. The criteria of
selection are very rigorous and each family must satisfy a precise
conditions of contract: : excellent morality, desire to communicate with
their host, satisfactory social standing. We should specify that the
families will only speak with you the language of the country where
you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses!

the oil industry since 1947 as well as the agricultural centre of
Alberta. The city of Calgary is rapidly expanding. Today, Calgary has
