Tuition of 10, 20, 24, 30 group lessons per week, general or business English, TOEFL or TOEIC preparation, special course for foreign English teachers (TEFL), Cambridge exam preparation (FCE, CAE), Elder course.

  • 1 lesson: 50 minutes
  • Minimum age: 17
  • Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM depending the chosen program.
  • Maximum of 10 students per class.

  • 10 lessons a week: cannot get accommodation with the school.
     
  • TOEFL: 30 lessons a week. Minimum 4 weeks; 105$US exam fee and text books.
     
  • TOEIC: 20 lessons of group + 10 private lessons a week. 2, 3 or 4 weeks.
     
  • Cambridge exams preparation: 8 or 11 weeks. Foresee 1 additional accommodation week at the end to get the exam. Exam fee: 325$US
     
  • Business English: 20 or 35 lessons a week, 2 weeks only, minimum level required: upper intermediate, 5 students by class.
  • English for foreign English teachers (TEFL): 35 lessons a week spending among others the last educational tools.
  • Evaluation and certificate of linguistic training.
     
  • Elder course: 2 weeks program, 20 lessons per week. Excursions in the week end and afternoon activities during the week. INCLUDED accommodation in a family, single occupancy bedroom, 2 meals per day.

VISA: According to the last statements of the American law, the F1 students visa will be delivered only for the persons taking a minimum of 24 lessons a week. In that case, the school will send you the necessary document I-20 to get the visa by the closest American ambassy or consulate.

ALL STUDENTS GOING TO THE USA IN ORDER TO GET A LANGUAGE COURSE MUST KNOW THAT THE I-20 FORM IS NOW COMPULSORY, AND IT IN ORDER TO ASK FOR A STUDENT VISA F-1, IF THE COURSE IS OF A MINIMUM OF 18 LESSONS A WEEK. ALL NATIONALITIES ARE CONCERNED.

FOR CANADIAN STUDENTS, THE I-20 FORM IS ALSO COMPULSORY BUT ARE EXEMPTED FROM VISA.

PAYMENT OF THE
SEVIS FEE (AMERICAN ANTI TERRORIST MEASURES) WILL BE ALSO COMPULSORY BESIDES THE VISA EXPENSES. REQUIRED FOR ALL NATIONALITIES.

SEVIS I-901 (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System): PRICE: 200$US

This SEVIS fee is required of all foreign nationals who come to the United States for the purpose of pursuing a full course of study in institutions such as colleges, universities, and language training programs.  It is payable one time for each single educational program in which an F-1 student participates, extending from the time the student is granted F-1 status to the time the student falls out of status, changes status, or departs the U.S. for an extended period of time. 

This fee is new and goes into effect September 1, 2004.  SEVIS fee payments will be used by the United States Department of Homeland Security to fund the Student and Exchange Visitor Program.  This program makes it possible for international students and exchange visitors to attend schools in the United States.  The fee also funds the Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), a computer system employed to track international students and exchange visitors during their stays in the United States.

Our greeting families are recruited with great care. The criteria of selection are very rigorous and each family must satisfy a precise conditions of contract: : excellent morality, desire to communicate with their host, satisfactory social standing. We should specify that the families will only speak with you the language of the country where you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses!

Weekday activities include outings in and around Boston. Weekend trips are planned for regional cities and points of interest. Students are chaperoned by either a school staff member or a professional tour guide on all activities.

Activities are always optional. Students may sign up and pay as they participate. Also, some of our best activities are free! Free activities are designated on the list below by an asterisk (*).
